I am trying to redact some text. The text I highlight redacts just fine, but it occasionally catches and deletes text in the line above the text I have selected, just a letter or two. That is to say text on lines that has specifically NOT been highlighted by the redaction tool, but it's just catching descenders or letters that for whatever reason are slightly below the baseline.
It seems as though the "selection area" created by the redact tool is extra tall and overlaps the line above, catching certain letters. (I can't remember the term but there are some art program tools where you can switch between have to surround the ENTIRE object to select versus just intersecting a tiny fraction of an object to select the entire thing. It feels like redaction is defaulting to the latter.
Any ideas?
Edit: It appears as though the letters that are unintentionally deleted are the exact ones that would be a little clipped if you were to use the highlighter tool set to black (say you were pretend redacting some top secret nuclear submarine documents) - the default highlight is much wider than just the area from capline to baseline.
