Quite new To Acrobat, and there are a couple of annoyances I can't figure out.

I've been asked by my company to make some editable PDFs, seeing as I'm the most computer literate person in the company (lucky me, huh)
The main thing I've been asked to create is a timesheet that the engineers and I can fill in on the job and send off at the end of the week to get paid. So far, I have managed to figure out basic boxes functions, and insert a button to send the PDF to my employer's office.
The following are 5 main issues that I have and really hope someone could assist me with.
1.) When I am editing the file and have to exit Acrobat (Be it through being tired, having to go out etc) I can't for the life of me seem to re-open the half edited PDF where I left off, meaning that I have to start all over again (Which is a nightmare when I have to reprogram all the sum of boxes etc)

2.) I would also like add transparent boxes onto the PDF, seeing as everytime I save it and open it in Reader, all my fields have a blue outline. Would there be any way to make them transparent because it ruins my sheet!

3.) The only button I can seem to make to send the PDF as an attachment looks really ugly and I'd like to make my own in Illustrator or Photoshop and use it like a hyperlink that sends the file. I also tried making the ugly button non-visible and placing it over my nice button, but this failed when I came to testing it.
4.) lastly (and I have no idea why it's doing this) I have crazy artefacts scattered all over my document. When I open on Photoshop, there are none of these and they also showed up on test prints. I have tried saving as many different files, flattening the living hell out of it, and even printing as a JPEG, re-scanning and then creating the form... same problem.

5.) Acrobat seems to recognise the word "Signature" and I think that might be affecting problem 1. I have had to resort to changing the word "signature" to a sine wave (We're electrical engineers so it seemed pretty apt!)

I hope all of these are easy mistakes for a rookie to make and all you pros can laugh it off and help me out.
Thank you to anyone who offers their help in advance!

Sean.

Ps: I am using Acrobat XI, however - I have a company credit card at my disposal should an older version be required.
