Creating a "stamp" and being able to use it over and over

Hi:

I would like to be able to create "stamps" like they use in accounting when one receives am invoice to stamp the day it was received. I would like to record that stamp as a macro so with a click of 1-2 keys, I could insert it into any document I get whether they are pdf or not...Is that possible?

I am so fresh to this, I also would like to find out how I can become better at utilizing this new product I have at my service.
