When I open a pdf with Acrobat Pro 10.1.8 on my MacBook Pro with OS 10.6.8., frquently pages with images show as entirley black, blocking the image. Pages with text that are actually black text on a white background show as black backgorund with green text (sometimes purple). This happens whether I have downlaoded the pdf from a trusted online sources, created it from a .doc (from Word) or .indd (from InDesign) file, etc. It doesn't always happen, but usually it does.
It only happens in Acrobat Pro. It does not happen if I open the document in Preview or in Adobe Reader 9.
There is clealry nothing wrong with the documents, since they open fine with other readers.
Any ideas?
