Dear Community,
I'm on a Macbook (10.9.3) and I just installed the newest version of Acrobat Pro (XI). When I take a PDF file that was previously created in MS Word (2003) and attempt to convert it back to an MS Word file, the resulting export contains a series of unreadable punctuation marks and garbled text.
Unfortunately, the original Word file has been lost, so that's why I need to convert from PDF -> MS Word. I've printed new versions of the PDF from the original PDF and tried to copy-and-paste the text directly -- whatever I do, the text is garbled when I import it to Word (2011).
