I want to open a document in acrobat, not reader

I have Acrobat X and I just upgraded to Windows 8.1 and Word 2013.  When I create a pdf, it opens in Reader and I can't to things like extract or delete pages or insert pages from another pdf file.  How do I get it to open in Acrobat?

 

Also, in my prior version of Word, there was a "Create PDF" tab on my Word menu bar.  Can I do the same in 2013?
