Okay, so I find that there were quite a number of updates to Pro 9.5 since the last one I applied (I'm at 9.5.1, need to get to 9.5.5) that may resolve an issue i"m having. Problem is, I get the message below, and as much as i search on Adobe i can't find how to get the install to work. I can't go back to 9.5 since I purchased online, and can't find any links to allow me to download and re-install, for that matter I am no longer sure where the registration code is located.
Any ideas how to get around this error? I've tried re-applying the 9.5.1 update, but you can't update the version that is installed, and I can't go back to 9.5 because of the same reason.
Error received:
The patch has failed because the application has been modified since it was originally installed (for example, plug-ins may have been disabled). Please go to the Adobe support website for more information regarding how to re-enable disabled components prior to installing the patch. Or, you can uninstall and reinstall the application, and then reinstall the patch.
