Situation with highlighting text

Hello,

I'm having difficulties using the "highlight text" mode with PDF files from one particular supplier.

Whenever I want to use highlight text, the text is highlighted in a very very strange way.

Here you have an example, I just wanted to highlight this block of text and it appears like this:

I have not a single clue what could be the problem, the problems appears often or maybe always with the files from this supplier.

When you select one of the highlights, everything is selected, and it looks like this:

What works is doing a refry, then it's looks like it should be:

I don't want to use the refry mode (Print as Adobe PDF) since I will lose many many links, bookmarks,... that's only the last option that I would like to use!

Any thought?
