I have a problem with acrodist.exe (The distiller program with Acrobat) Every time I boot my PC this happens. About 3 or 4 minutes after booting my PC Acrodist pops up the message it cannot find any files on my (numerous empty drives) I need the program for one of my clients who insists on distilling .PS files into PDFs or they will not accept my work. The drives it searches are from the numerous card readers built into my PC. I've already used the "hide empty drives" option in Windows 8.1 to conceal them from view but so far the only way I've been able to prevent the message is to remove everything related to acrobat from my start up folder.
If anyone can tell me the correct way to prevent distiller from searching, I would appreciate it. The message is most annoying. I can easily locate any Postscript files I create. I don't need the program testing how high it can get my blood pressure every time I boot my PC!
Thanks,
