Where are Optimizer settings stored?
I need to deploy PDF Optimizer settings throughout my organization, like I did with joboptions.
So far I have been unsuccessful in searching for a file with the name into which I saved my optimizer settings.
Where are the optimizer settings stored? I would hate to have to set these all manually for everyone.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do I need Debenu PDF Aerialist 12 as a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat in order to make a Table of Content to an existing PDF
Dear colleagues at this forum,
This is my question, i have a big PDF file, 341 pages, another 500 pages, I want to make a table of content, and I read that this Program Debenu PDF Aerialist 12 as a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat does provide this solution, which allows you to quickly build a table of content, however the program is expensive at close to five hundred dollars, i wonder why has not Acrobat Professional put this service included in the program, if one can make a solution of Table of Content and Index, this would be great. Does Acrobat have this function already or do you think that I must buy this program. Yes one can make a table of contents using word program then entering it to the PDF file and linking each line of the table of contents with the relevant page, but this would take a long time, and the solution provided by Debenu sounds like good. I am looking for your advice as i do not know much in this field.

pdf will not convert
When I attempt to convert from pdf to word, it looks as though it is converting, then stops.
The "conversion compete" does not appear as described in the help file!

No me convierte todo el documento word a PDF
Buenas tardes,
Cuando intento convertir un documento word a PDF, no lo hace en su totalidad, únicamente pasa a PDF una parte del mismo, siempre las primeras hojas. Curiosamente, he podido comprobar que solo convierte a este formato, la parte del documento que está bajo la Primera Sección; el resto de las secciones de las que consta el mismo, no las convierte. No lo entiento. He intentado hacerlo conb la opcióm "Combinar archivos en PDF", pero ocurre lo mismo. El documento Word, está estructurado en 7 Secciones y sólo convierte la primera. Me gustaría vuestra ayuda.
Estoy operando con Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, v11.0.10 para Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2

When I attach PDF to an email, it uses the wrong email address
I recently added an email account to my Outlook. It is not the default email account, but Acrobat defaults to that address whenever I attach a PDF to an email. Within Acrobat, the Identity under Preferences includes the correct email address. My MS Office applications use my correct, default email address when send from them. In Windows, the correct email is set at the default email and Outlook is my default email application. It is only Acrobat that defaults to the wrong email account. How can I fix this?
I am using Acrobat 9 Standard
I attach PDFs to email my clicking on the envelop icon. A new message in outlook automatically opens, but the "From" field in the new email message contains the wrong email address. I have also tried File/Attach to Email with the same results.

Merge 2 pdf pages to 1?
Hi folks
Time to time I have to merge PDF pages (pages 2-3 to one doublesized page etc). I have always done that by printing multiple pages per sheet... in my case 2 pages per sheet, but instead of printing, I have saved my work as PDF.
Now I have upgraded to MacOS X 10.6 and that doesn´t work any more. If I try, I get warning "Saving a PDF file when printing is not supported, use File>Save instead".
My problem is that there is no option "Save multiple pages per sheet"... so there´s no use to save it.... Is there some workarounds? I really need this feature and I can´t believe it has been taken away....

Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard?
Hello. I just purchased a new laptop and need Acrobat. I originally had the 6.0 standard version and upgraded to 9 via download. I have my serial number, but am not finding the 9 standard version available for download (only 9 pro). Any suggestions? I'm not opposed to upgrade to a newer version, but need to know where to begin. Thanks for your help.

How do I set the default page view for all pages?
I make my own ebooks in Adobe Acrobat X Pro.
I would prefer to render pdfs and set every page in an ebook to the Fit Page Magnification setting.
I can not figure out how to set all pages to this at one time. I have to edit each page individually.
Does anyone know how to do this at one time?

Reduced Size PDF
Recently, every time I try to save as a Reduced Size PDF, the program keeps crashing....how can this be resolved? I work on a MacBook Pro version 10.7.5.

I have Acrobat 8 standard, I can not create PDF file any more. It stopps after 10%. This is happen after I have trayed Acrobat IX prof. demo. I have unstalled and reinnstalled Acrobat 8, the same problem are there. Can sombody help me.

Troubleshooting fonts
I just purchased Acrobat XI. I was shocked to see how few fonts it includes. I need Univers. However, it seems there are dozens of Univers fonts out there. I used the File --> Properties--> Fonts menu to identify the font in my document: Univers-Bold and Regular (Embedded) TrueType ansi. How do I know if this is available or not on my computer (and Acrobat just can't find it)?
I also own Photoshop (or at least I was suckered into a monthly subscription of it) which has a lot more fonts. I don't know if having a subscription means I belong to Creative Cloud or not or whether or not I get access to additional fonts. Nothing is clear with Adobe. My best guess is, I'll just be squeezed for more money and more of my personal information. But, before I part with more money & info, I want to be sure what font I purchase. Many of the Univers fonts I found online have numbers. Like Univers 57, etc. etc. Adobe does not seem to have Univers font...except in some weird legacy location that costs a bundle and you are not even sure if you are getting TrueType or not.
How do I absolutely identify the font used in my document? Where then do I find it (locally or online somewhere); And once I get the font, how do I install it? I tried searching all of the HELP documents and of course, nothing comes up doing a SIMPLE freaking search, "Install Fonts" or "Import Fonts." Does Adobe not have any technical writers on staff? This would seem to me a very common issue.
