pdf export to Excel is changing dates to Aremenian
I am exporting to Excel from .pdf. It is taking the dates and converting them to Armenian and switching the months and days around. I cannot find where it is telling this to do it. Under my options, language, it is checked English.
Does anyone know where it is told to change the format to this?

I am looking to see if there is any software out there that helps push the data from a PDF file, into particular software. I am using Accounting software and it would save my company a lot of time if our PDF invoices were able to be pushed into Quickbooks, or converted in a way to get it into our system without having to type it in.

Why I get is a page of little boxes where type should be when I make a PDF from a website.
Im trying to create a pdf of my bank statements, all I get is a page of boxes where letters should be. It does it on both my banks webpages. I used to be a able until I upgraded to El Capitain, Ive called Apple and they say its a Adobe issue. Ive also had problems with Illustrator running really slow to re-draw, not sure if this is related to the upgrade. I have all up to date CC apps.

how can I extract data from a pdf written in hindi language and is using winansiencoding
I have got this pdf which contains data in hindi and has different blocks to store same type of information. I have to extract data from the pdf and then store it in csv/excel format so that it can be easily used for further processing.
I have tried using OCR and also different tools and libraries of python (like tesseract, pdfminer) but I am not able to receive satisfactory results.(somewhere or the other there is always a problem in hindi 'Matra').
Please help me with this. I have been stucked for like 3-4 days
Can't delete or move PDF
I am using Acrobate Pro version 9.5.1 on a Windows 7 64 bit machine.
Once I have created a PDF, I find I am unable to move or delete the file. If I reboot the machine, I can delete or move the file, but as soon as I open a PDF, the problem is back until I reboot again.
It appears others have had the same problem, but I don't see any solutions. Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds?

I want to export my pdf as image files for each page with the filename for each page named from a bookmark within the page. Sounds a bit complicated but I would guess some bright spark has done it before.

Bring back the "Acrobat" menu option that disappeard in Word 2010 (or Excel)
My "Acrobat: in the Word 2010 top level menu had disappeared.
I figured out a fix. Click on File, then Options then Add Ins. You should see the Acrobat PDFMaker COM Add-In under "Inactive Applications Add Ins". Click on the Go button at the bottom of the screen and a window should open showing the Acrobat Add In with an unchecked box to the left. Click on the box, click OK and the issue should be fixed.
Changing "file resolution"?
I want to know how to decrease the file size of PDFs made with a MFP scanner without losing print quality. Please read on to understand what I'm dealing with.
I scan sheet music regularly as part of my job. I use several different model Multi-Function Printers at different offices. Despite scanning the same source material, with the same settings I end up with vastly different file sizes.
I always choose B&W, 300dpi, B4 paper size on each printer. e.g. I recently scanned 26 pages with those settings on two different printers: one made a PDF that was 2.4MB, the other 8.9MB. The two files look essentially the same when I print them.
When I use Elements to edit the images enclosed in the files they are basically the same size. e.g. the first page of one opened in Elements as 1.55MB and the first page of the other opened as 1.56MB. (It beats me how a PDF that is 2.4MB can be made of 26 pages that are each a 1.5MB image.)
The only quantifiable difference I can find between the two files is when viewing the "Get Info" screen for each file (I'm working on a Mac). One says "resulotion: 645x852", the other says "resolution: 1031x728."
I really don't care about the semantics and misuse of DPI, PPI, Resolution or whatever term you can throw at me.
I sort of want to know why the 2.4MB file prints up just as good as the 8.9MB file, which is just as good as the 900KB scan from another MFP I use.
Critically I want to know how to make the 8.9MB file the same size as the 2.4MB file. I've tried all kinds of pre-flight settings that result in a smaller file size but also a lower quality image. But as I've said the 2.4MB file from one printer looks just as good as the 8.9MB file from the other.

Trouble enabling user to save PDF
I am using Adobe XI. I create a pdf with fillable fields. I want the user to be able to fill in, and save. When I go to File - Save As other - reader extended pdf - enable more tools, I get this error message "This document could not be Reader Enabled" Can someone tell me why this suddenly started happening? Just upgraded to Mac El Capitan. Do I HAVE to follow the above steps for my users to save their edits? Is it an automatic setting that they already CAN save?

I had Adobe Acrobate X Pro installed and got installed Office 2013 with Outlook 2013, which made the function "Convert e-mail maps to PDFs" to disapare. I can now only make singel e-mail to PDF whicg is very very inefficient. Solution?
