Acrobat will not convert word RTF files to PDF?
Hi I recently tried the trial version of Acrobat DC and it will not convert MS word docs in RTF (Rich Text Format) to PDF. Can the older version of acrobat X do this?
In my line of work we have software that exports reports into MS Word RTF files. I need to convert these into PDF, suggestions?

Bentley Projectwise links 'The web capture operation you have requested has failed because of an error.'
I am a user of Bentley Projectwise that provides shortened links to server based documents.
When creating a PDF using Adobe Acrobat XI plugin or printer through MS Word the webpage hyperlinks work but not the links to the file stored in Bentley Projectwise.
It states the following: The web capture operation you have requested has failed because of an error.
What can I do to resolve. As a business that uses both PDF's and Bentley Projectwise as core systems the PDF'd Projectwise links have to work.

How to Copy all the text blocks of a converted Word file (Converted PDF TO WORD)
We have scanned a English book quite a some time ago. Now we have converted it to a Word Document.
We try to copy the whole text and re-format it and save it as Word/PDF
The problem is we cannot copy the whole document since it has the text as various blocks.
It is very hard to select each box and put in a word document or in a notepad.
Could you please tell me how to select the whole document or whole blocks with single stretch or any easy way to do it?

How do you Index a 500-1200 page PDF File?
I do a lot of research and right now I have to two files that both have between 500 and 600 pages. I also have one that has over 1200 pages.
When I do a search in one of those pdf files, the answer pops right up. When I do a search in the other ones, it can take up to 5-10 minutes.
There must be an index preferences or something turned on in the fast pdf file.
Can you help me?

how can I convert an annotated digitally signed PDF to PDFA
I need to store quality records in my organization in PDFA format, we do however allow for annotating digitally signed PDF documents to fix typographical errors that do not change the content of the document. Adobe PDF preserves all the changes along with the Digital Signature Validations however I am unable to convert this Digitally Signed pdf with annotations into the PDFA format and Preflight does not tell me why I can not convert to PDFA. Any ideas?

Adobe Distiller Issue in Adobe X Pro - Windows 2008 R2 XenApp 6.5 Citrix Server
In a certain application of ours you can send a report, to file to output a PDF file. That process calls Distiller and a PS file is created, which will create a PDF file via Distiller. The process should load Distiller and convert the PS file and create the PDF file, that process is bombing out. Oddly enough, if you send the report to the Adobe Printer it loads and works correctly. So the issue is a bit isolated to how Distiller is handling PS files. The process has access to create the file, the registry looks good at HKCU and HKLM for Software\Adobe and Wow6432Node\Adobe. LocalAppData\Roaming\Adobe looks correct and ProgramData\Adobe looks good as well.
The bad/issue behavior is that, once the file is sent to Distiller, Distiller opens, does not load the PDF file and advises it could not open the file. The warning it produces states that it created an Empty job, and No PDF file was produced. Once you close the Distiller our application barks that it could not load and display the file.
Attached is a screen capture of the issue. Any thoughts on what else to check? I'm running out of ideas. Thank you for your time!

adobe extension/add-on mozilla firefox
My question is this:
I am running the beta version 43.0b9 of Mozilla Firefox and it requires all add-ons to have a verified signature or whatever, so it disabled my Adobe Acrobat DC - Create PDF 15 add-on. How do I get that add-on back? Is it because I'm running the beta version or is it because Adobe hasn't updated their add-on verified signature or whatever?
Any light shed on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
I have Windows 10 1511 version on a HP Laptop. I have a Creative Cloud subscription as well.

The PDF Maker in Acrobat DC crashes Exel 2016 every time it is loaded runing Windows 7 Pro.
The Adobe web site says it is compatible. MS support have identified the COM PDFmaker as causing this problem.

im trying to create a 3ft x 8ft file. But Acrobat breaks up.....
what are the limitations of Acrobat Pro XI when it comes to createing large phisycal PDF files such as 3ft x 8ft or larger? I tried it from Autocad and EasyPower software.
I downloade the PrimoPDF free software and it does let me create these sizes?

How can I make a field unfillable when a check box or radio box is selected?
I'm looking to create a rule that makes selected fields un-fillable when one check box is selected, and fillable when another is selected. Is this possible in Adobe Acrobat?

Cannot create PDF from MS Office 2010 files. Get error "Unable to find 'Adobe PDF' resource files."
Cannot create PDF from MS Office 2010 files. Get error "Unable to find 'Adobe PDF' resource files." This is with Acrobat Pro DC v. 15.006.30097, Office 2010, Windows 7 SP1. Using the MS Office built in save to PDF functions works fine but initiating the conversion from Acrobat either with File>Create>PDF From FILE or Tools>Combine Files results in the error "Unable to find 'Adobe PDF' resource files" followed by a message that the "Adobe Acrobat DC could not open the file because it is not a supported file type or has been damaged." This seems to occur regardless of which MS Office file type the original is and is not limited to a single PC since I have tried it on 3 different systems, nor does it have to do with security permissions. I have uninstalled (and used the Acrobat cleaner), reinstalled, updated, and repaired the installations, as well as replacing the *.joboption files, and PDF printer .dlls to no avail. I have seen similar questions in this and other forums but have yet to see one that was marked resolved. Anyone have any insights into this issue?

First version of acrobat which can convert non searchable PDF to searchable PDF?
Hello,
I have engineering documents which have symbols and small fonts. They are non searchable.
I am looking to buy an inexpensive version of Adobe off Ebay that can convert a non-searchable pdf to searchable pdf and do this very well (many programs can't, especially with small text).
What version do you recommend? I see versions starting with Acrobat 5 but I don't know when Adobe added this capability and how good it is, i.e., version 6 OCR may be better than version 5.

The check number will have to be filled in after it is stamped. When I try to type a number on the stamp it does not show up. If I drag it off the stamp I can see it. How do I make it show up on the stamp?
