How do I prevent missing text (when viewed on web in Adobe Reader) when exporting InDesign CS5 file to PDF file?
When I click my link to view the file, it is missing most of the text in Adobe Reader, even though if I open the file in Acrobat, the file appears to be fine. How do I keep it visible in Reader?

Why are pdf images blackened when document downloaded?
When I download pdfs from the internet, many of the graphics are blacked out. In at least some cases, this seems to happen where there is shading.
I can usually get rid of the black areas by selecting and deleting them using the Acrobat X image editor. The underlying graphic can then be seen.
Just to be clear, this is not an issue of images being blocked by the author.
Why is this happening? Any insights would be appreciated.

How do I create page format smaller than 26mm?
Trying to create labels for a label printer with 14mm wide labels. Creating labels using Corel Draw X5. Printing with Acrobat XI and creating custom page size, ex. 14mm wide and 80mm high. The added format does not show up in the drop-down menu. Any format below 26mm in any direction is not shown. Also tried from Microsoft Word.
So instead tried Foxit and the Foxit printer does not have this problem. It even shows the formats I already have added (but cannot see) using Acrobat XI printer.
I have reported this as a bug to Adobe.
I installed XI version since I was actually using Acrobat ver. 9. Thought years of development would have fixed this but no... or is it only my computer that has this problem?

Is there a Maximum file size limit when combining pdf files
I am trying to combine files 8 PDF files created with i Explore using Acrobat XI Standard, the process is completed but when opening the file not all 8 individual files have been combined only the first two have been combined, the process shows all eight being read and combined.
I can open and view each of the original 8 individual files and read the content without any issue, the largest of the eight files is 15,559kb and the smallest is 9,435kb
if anyone can assist that would be most appreciated

Acrobat XI pro - cannot update footer
I am using Acrobat XI pro and am having difficult updating a footer once I closed the PDF and reopened it. I keep getting the message that the footer information cannot be updated in the document. Why is that?

Actions Not Showing Up After Import
I imported a bunch of actions into Acrobat 11 (Creative Cloud version) from Acrobat 10 (the Version that came with CS6). They are not showing up in the Action Wizard panel, and the program will not let me reimport them because "The action has the same name as a previously imported action." Does anyone know how to resolve this?

The Document could not be saved. Bad File Handle
Intermittently when the user is adding documents to an existing PDF she gets an error stating "the document could not be saved. Bad file handle". She is also getting another error stating "the document could not be saved. open or in use by another application.
She is using Adobe XI
Uninstalled and reinstall to see if that would make a difference but no change.

I have not been able to figure out what is causing this error, I have used these setting before and have never experienced this problem. The only thing that has changed is the OS from 10.9 to 10.10. The PDF is a magazine that I work on that has different ads and page layouts. Any help would be appreciated.

Acrobat XI plugin for Outlook 2013 crashes constantly; has to be re-enabled
I have a user that has Windows 7 (32 bit) and Oultook 2013 (also 32 bit). The export to PDF plugin did not work with Acrobat X so we upgraded to Acrobat XI, however this plugin crashes and "disappears" quite often, requiring the user to open the settings and re-enabling the plugin. This will also occasionally cause Outlook to crash. Any suggestions on how to resolve this or at least further troubleshoot?

Recovering lost pdf file
Is there any way to recover a lost file after a crash if one ALSO accidentally clicked 'no' to the promopt to open an unsaved file? Are these stored somewhere and therefore recoverable? Thank you

PDF Button in Excel 2013
Hi Guys
I have followed a thread under the same subject matter and the outcome was that the PDF Maker button is not available in Excel 2013 unless you are using Acrobat X1 (11). I subscribe to Creative Cloud and have all the latest applications including Adobe Acrobat X1, but I cannot see a PDF button anywhere like it used to be on Office 2010.
Does anyone have more info on this please.
