Bug: Portfolio keyboard shortcuts

Portfolio issues (again).

Acrobat DC, 2015 continuous release  v 2015.009.20077.

Outlook 2016.0.16001.1034

Windows 10 build 10576

1. I cannot find a way to change the zoom settings before a portfolio is created.

2. After the email archive/portfolio is created, ctrl+2 to zoom to page width does not work in a portfolio.

3. None of the zoom keyboard shortcuts work (cntl+0,1,2,3,4, Y). I have tried 3 different wired usb keyboards.

4. Using the menu to select the option does work.

5. Changing the default view (file, portfolio properties, magnification, page width) then saving the file and reopening it does not zoom to page width. It remains at zoom to page level.

Sound Files in Adobe Pro 11 for Mac

Everytime I try to insert a sound file into a pdf page it crashes.  Any help would be much appreciated. It's an mp3 file.

Converting datasheets to pdf

We are looking to convert excel spreadsheets to pdf.  We want a piece of software that will go to a URL and download data.  For example, the publication that I am currently working on is made up of 13+ spreadsheets (all with multiple sheets within them). These can be found here:  http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/publications/re-reference-tables.html?edition=tcm%3A77-388788

 

We want the software to download the spreadsheets and format them for printing. Is this possible?    We are having to format the data manually in the Excel so that it fits on a single A4 page. We don't want to have to do this manually - can any Adobe software do it for us? thanks

Extracting pages from a PDF in Acrobat

Previously with Adobe Reader, I could right click, then select extract page, select current page or a range, then it would prompt me to both name the file and save it to a destination.

 

With Adobe Acrobat, I've found the alternative method to extracting pages, however don't see that it gives me the option to name it (only seems to name it what the original file was called, and it doesn't allow me to select the destination of the file being saved).  This is vital for a portion of our business that is based on electronic file management, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have DC Pro Pack and does not allow me to edit a document, keeps circling back to area to pay for it which we already did and suggestions?

I can not figure out how to edit a pdf document.  I go to Edit document and it directs be to the are to pay for it which I did.  Checked subscription information and it does indicate I have DC Pro Pack which should allow to edit?

Error message when trying to save a pdf

We have a file that is saved on a flash drive, that we use to write up sales and we have always been able to rename and save on the same flash drive but in the last couple of days it will not let us. It gives us "The document could not be saved.  The file may be read only or opened by another user. Please rename and save or save in another folder". I am able to save it on the desktop and drag it to the flash drive but will not save on the flash drive. We are on a Mac using OS 10.11.1 and we are using Acrobat Pro 11.0.13. Any ideas why this is happening?

Print to Acrobat DC Directly

We are considering switching from eCopy PaperWorks/PDF Office Pro to Adobe Acrobat DC.  They allow you to print directly to the application and either create a new PDF or insert into an open PDF.  We do this 90% of the time.  Printing to a file then opening it and moving/copying pages is a huge waste of time.  Does anyone know how to do this with Acrobat DC or if there are any extensions that would do this?  Thanks!

Why is Acrobat XI Crashing when I try to Save As?

Everytime I try to Save As in Acrobat XI Pro, the prgram stops responding and I lose all my work. This never happened in Acrobat 9. I am running Windows 8.

 

Please advise I am getting very frustrated and losing a lot of time with this.

why wont the scanner pull the documents from the form feeder?

I have a Brother multi function printer/scanner.  I'm trying to scan several documents and can't get the scanner to pull the documents from the form feeder.  Instead it wants to scan from the document tray.  Any suggestions?

How do I reduce file size with Acrobat Pro DC?

I used to use Acrobat Pro and could reduce file sizes and break up PDFs. How do I do that now? Very important for sending docs to government offices that don't take attachments over 4MB. Help?

I converted an Excel file to a pdf and am now trying to place an image in the file. After selecting my image, it shows "opening image file as Adobe PDF", the image appears and I hover it over the spot I want to place it. Once placed, it disappears. The image works in other files, just not these ones that I saved from an excel file. Help?

Losing links when saving Word 2011 Mac to Acrobat Pro X 10.1.3

I've searched online for an answer, but can't find anything.  I jus started noticing that when I save a Word doc (2011 for Mac) to a PDF, the links in my document no longer work in the PDF.

 

Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

This latest offering of Acrobat DC doesn't work. The google docs work-around with OpenAsPDF changed to Lumin and it doesn't work. The conversion through Pages is a nightmare for formatting (and drops normal cross-reference text). No, manually adding hyperlinks is not an option.

What is the official workaround?

Can't delete or move PDF

I am using Acrobate Pro version 9.5.1 on a Windows 7 64 bit machine.

 

Once I have created a PDF, I find I am unable to move or delete the file. If I reboot the machine, I can delete or move the file, but as soon as I open a PDF, the problem is back until I reboot again.

 

It appears others have had the same problem, but I don't see any solutions. Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds?
